Florals and Stripes

Bodysuit and Hat from Forever 21, Skirt and Jewelry from Body Central, Jacket from H&M, Shoes from Ross

Hey guys long time no talk and I have a legitimate reason for that I swear. Lately I've been having a rough time. I slipped into a dark episode of depression and couldn't eat sleep or do anything besides cry for about a week. I lost my motivation to post anything fashion related hell I didn't even have the drive to research anything fashion related and thats saying something. But I'm starting to feel like myself again as well as eating and I have my anxiety attacks under control. So I thought I'd do an outfit post to get back in the swing of things :) I dont have much time to post because i have a really busy day tomorrow but I just love the look of floral prints and stripes worn together. Its a really playful combination and instantly trendy you really can't go wrong with pairing the two.

Thanks for reading as always and thank you for all the awesome support I love getting your messages and comments you inspire me every single day! Wishing you all a wonderful week! I may not be on here as often because of work and I just got a casting audition for a movie being filmed in Mobile so I'll be busy with that and wont be able to post much but I will post daily on my tumblr because thats just reblogging and takes a second lol so feel free to follow me and stay in touch with me on there, love you guys<3

"Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose."

"hmm.. I think I should have another glass of wine."

Bustier- Victoria's Secret, Shorts- Body Central, Jacket- borrowed from my friend Bree (operation steal Bree's jacket to commence in 1800 hrs...Just kidding)

So here is part two of my edgy boudoir fashion photo shoot with the amazing Jessi Casara.  Like I said in the previous post, Jessi is all about capturing raw natural beauty and not messing with it which is really refreshing to me. For this part of the shoot, She and I thought it'd be fun to do a rock in roll high fashion chic theme. She had the brilliant idea to shoot in my closet above where my clothes hang in cabinets and to have elements of my closet styled around me such as purses, sunnies a glass figurine of the Eiffel tower. I thought it was pretty creative if you ask me! I believe she used her holga and her canon for this shoot and I couldn't be happier with the outcome, I absolutely love the vignette effect that the holga produced it really adds to the rock in roll aspect.
To see more of her stunning work click here. It is always a pleasure to work with Jessi, she really gets into it and her passion and excitement is contagious which in turn makes you enjoy the whole experience! As always, thank you for reading as well as your wonderful beautiful support I truly appreciate it and you. Hope you all have a good week full of good spirits and promise, until next time!

And I don't know what I've done to me...

Romper- Forever 21, Jewelry- Body Central, Wine- Moscato... is there any other kind?! :)

I recently did a photo shoot with my bestest friend Jessi Lambert, who actually did my very first photo shoot last year called the sweater girl. She is so amazing at capturing the flaws you see everyday and turning them into something beautiful. She's all about natural beauty and emphasizing your "bad sides" in order to capture the raw essence of who your are. However, for this shoot we both wanted to step outside of our comfort zones and push boundaries a bit. I love boudoir shoots but they have started to all look the same to me. The girl is in some form of lingerie with gorgeous curly hair, natural make up in red or black stilettos either upside down with their legs in the air on their feet crossed laying on their stomach. And thats fine but everyone is or has done it so being the radical I am, I wanted to do something different. No lingerie but instead a floral romper, no curls but rather the opposite with grunge like straight hair, chunky gold statement jewelry in place of an understated strand of pearls and as for the make up, harsh and dark. I wanted it to look seedy motel room chic inspired by the "Live fast die young" motto and Jessi's holga couldn't have been more perfect for this. I'll have you know though only wine was responsible for this shoot and nothing else so please get those thoughts out of your head okay? It was just wine. Lots and lots of wine :) There's a part two to this shoot but I'm saving that for the next post! Wishing you guys a great week and for my Southerners out there Happy Mardi Gras! Much love and so many more thanks!!!

Her Hair is Harlow Gold, her Lips a Sweet Surprise

Hey Everyone,  I hope your weekend is going well. I'm sorry I've been somewhat MIA lately I've been going through some personal stuff and haven't really felt much like blogging or even leaving my bed so I've been mostly sleeping and waiting for this dark cloud over me to dissipate. I would really appreciate it if you would keep me in your prayers because I haven't felt this bad in a really long time and I'm not sure if it will subside on its own this time.  Anyway's no outfit post today because I wanted to share some of my favorite shots from my studio shoot with the amazing Perri Farlow, she is so talented and I'm so glad I got to work with her finally. You can check out all of gorgeous work here you won't be disappointed! :) Have a wonderful rest of the weekend and I pray you are in good spirits for a long time.
Much love and many more thanks

Dreams Unwind Loves a State of Mind

Kimono/Jumpsuit/Sunnies- Forever 21, Hat- ebay, Boots- Charlotte Russe, Jewelry- Body Central

Hi guys! How's your week going? Good? Great? Wishing it as over already? Yeah all that lol. Currently I'm obsessing over kimonos and jumpsuits. I was able to find the perfect long kimono at Forever 21 a few weeks ago. Thanks to their incredibly wide selection, I have one in every length now so, much love to Forever 21 for being so accommodating with their styles and options. Finding the perfect jumpsuit however wasn't as a great of an experience. After many many weeks of  cyber stalking forever 21 and succumbing to stage five clinger status with my daily "just wanted to see if they got some in and forgot to call me" calls, I was finally united with one. HALLELUJAH! I'm hoping as spring approaches it wont be that difficult to find one otherwise I'll have to resort to making my own (who am I kidding I can't sew!) Anyway's back to the purpose of this post, I decided to channel my inner hippie but add a bit of a rocker chic twist to the look by pairing my combat booties with it, a daring move but I had a good feeling I'd achieve the look I was going for and I was right! Let me know what you guys think of these pieces, would you wear them and if so how would you style it? Until next time, wishing you guys light love and happiness and sending many thanks!
